How AI Routing Works

Our routing algorithm is designed to eliminate the "bystander effect" caused by mass email or SMS blasts. When an emergency is triggered, the system calculates a unique Priority Score for every active donor in the network.

The Algorithm

The score is determined in real-time using the following metrics:

• Geospatial Proximity: Calculated using the Haversine formula. Closer donors receive exponentially higher scores.
• Trust & Reliability: Donors who have successfully completed donations in the past gain a higher base trust score.
• Cooldown Status: The system automatically filters out any donor who has donated within the last 90 days.
• KYC Verification: Verified donors (Aadhaar/DL checked) are prioritized in the queue.

Once scored, the top 3 matches are pinged via WebSockets for instant, zero-latency notification.

I requested blood, but no one accepted. What now?

If local donors are unavailable, you can use the Priority Signal Boost feature in your dashboard. For ₹20, your request bypasses local routing and is broadcasted to the entire regional network.

How do I verify my identity?

In your Dashboard profile settings, upload a clear picture of your Aadhaar Card or Driving License. Our admins review the KYC queue daily. Once approved, you will receive a "Verified" badge.

Why am I locked out from donating?

For your health and safety, LifeDrop enforces a strict 90-day cooldown period after a successful donation. You will be automatically unlocked once the cooldown period expires.

Donor Guidelines

Donating blood is a noble act, but it must be done safely. Please ensure you meet the following criteria before marking yourself as "Active" on the network.

Basic Requirements

• You must be between 18 and 65 years of age.
• Your weight should not be less than 45 kilograms.
• Your hemoglobin count should not be less than 12.5 g/dl.
• You must not have donated blood in the last 90 days (3 months).
• You should be in good health and not suffering from cold, flu, or other infections.

If you are pregnant, nursing, or have undergone major surgery recently, please refrain from donating.

Privacy & Data Protection

Your privacy is critical to our mission. LifeDrop handles highly sensitive medical and locational data, and we employ strict security measures to protect it.

Data Collection

We collect your exact GPS coordinates solely for the purpose of the algorithmic matching system. Your location is never sold to third parties.

KYC Documents

Identity documents uploaded for verification are stored securely in our private buckets. They are reviewed by authorized admins and are not publicly accessible.

Cookie Policy

We use essential cookies and local storage (JWT tokens) to maintain your secure session. We do not use tracking cookies for advertisements.
